Dunshaughlin Community National School

Welcome to the Dunshaughlin Community National School (Dunshaughlin CNS) webpage. Dunshaughlin Community National School is a multidenominational school under the patronage of the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board. Our doors opened in September 2020 with our first junior infant pupils in our temporary accommodation in the grounds of Dunshaughlin GAA. From this junior infants class, we will have an intake of a junior infants class every year after until we have all eight class levels. A move to a permanent school site is envisaged in the next few years to cater for this growth.

Community National School (CNS) are child-centred, publicly accountable schools which strive to provide a high quality education for every child. They provide equal opportunites to all children in the communities they serve. Every Community National School is not the same but we are all underpinned by five main cornerstones: Excellence in Education, Equality Based, Community Focused, Respect and Care.
